Sleep on your side and use nasal strips. You can buy them in Boots.
I snore loudly but my missus has the ultimate sound killer - a loud traditional fan right next to her head plus earplugs. There's is nothing that can beat it - she tried everything else!

Tesco do an anti snoring pillow.
Both my wife and dad snore badly but this has reduced both.

I had the 'op' done a few years back, basically redesigning the inside of my hooter...pleased to say worked a treat ;-)
With the odd exception of when i have a West Ham day and drink a dozen pints...thats when I resemble the Eurostar passing through Ebbsfleet
